Nowadays, we have so many books, magazines, newspapers and ebooks to read, that the only thing we don’t have is enough time. However, since we are not able to control time (like Doctor Strange), we need to learn to adapt. That’s why we decided to browse the web for the best tips that will help you make the most out of your reading time. Check them out! 🙂

1. Set realistic goals

Start by setting a reading goal that is easily attainable, like reading just one book per month or 20 pages a day.

2. Keep your goals to yourself

If you share your goals with people, it’s less likely that you are going to stick to them.

3. Read things that you enjoy

When you read books that you actually want to read, you’ll find it more difficult to put them down.

4. Create a distraction-free environment

Start by reading in a room that is quiet and doesn’t come with temptations, like a TV.

5. Stop talking to yourself while reading

This will only slow you down.

6. Try an audiobook

If you are still struggling to finish your book, try an audiobook instead.

7. Pillows & lighting

If you prefer reading in bed, make sure you are comfortable.

8. Sign up at a local library

It’s nice to be surrounded by other readers.

9. Make a commitment

Many readers set targets for the year and share their progress on Instagram and by blogging.

10. Join a book club

Book clubs are a great way to meet fellow readers and discuss literature. Ever heard of the Lean Stone Book Club? 🙂
